PPTA received a letter from Hungary’s Ministry of the Interior reaffirming its commitment to operationalise the Donor Registry developed by the Hungarian National Blood and Transfusion Service, aimed at enhancing donor safety and ensuring compliance with the legally mandated donation frequency.
PPTA along with the EPA and its member companies in Hungary prioritize donor health and safety and strongly endorse the Donor Registry and its use by all plasma collectors.
EPA and PPTA will continue to provide relevant updates to members and patient groups. For questions, reach out to Alexa Wetzel, Senior Director, Lead for European Plasma.
